1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TranscribeLegal.ai (the "Service"), operated by EasyWay IT, LLC ("Company"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

If you are using the Service on behalf of a law firm or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these terms.

2. Description of Service

TranscribeLegal.ai provides AI-powered transcription services designed for legal professionals. The Service includes:

• Audio and video file upload and transcription
• Speaker identification and diarization
• Transcript editing, export, and management
• Integration with the ProvaLens document intelligence platform

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

The Service is offered under subscription plans as described on our Pricing page.

• Free Trial: New accounts receive a 30-day free trial with full access and no limits
• Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected
• Payment: All payments are processed securely via Stripe
• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues through the end of the current billing period
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled on a case-by-case basis within 30 days of charge

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Upload content that you do not have the right to transcribe
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
• Use automated tools to access the Service without our written consent

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain all rights to your audio files, video files, and generated transcripts. We do not claim ownership of your content.

Our Service

The Service, including its technology, design, and branding, is owned by EasyWay IT, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

7. AI Transcription Accuracy

TranscribeLegal.ai uses artificial intelligence for transcription. While we strive for high accuracy:

• Transcripts are generated by AI and may contain errors
• You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all transcripts before use
• Transcripts should not be relied upon as certified court transcripts unless reviewed and certified by a qualified professional
• We do not guarantee 100% accuracy for any transcription

8. Data Privacy & Security

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and audit logging.

For firms handling Protected Health Information (PHI), we offer Business Associate Agreements (BAA). See our BAA page for details.

9. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance (we will provide advance notice)
• Emergency maintenance or security updates
• Factors beyond our control (internet outages, cloud provider issues)

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EASYWAY IT, LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EasyWay IT, LLC and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
• You may request export of your data within 30 days
• After 30 days, your data will be permanently deleted

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Pinellas County, Florida.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on our website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
